Snarcasm: Let’s Complain about the ‘Rogue One’ Teaser Tailer

I really like this take on Rogue One, as I really enjoyed it and seeing the backlash has really gotten me down and just… this kind of keeps it real while shutting down all the haters!

rogue one teaserSnark + Sarcasm = what you’re about to read

The first teaser trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story dropped today, and I’ll be painfully honest. I fell in love almost immediately. So for obvious reasons, I have a lot of thoughts (some positive and some negative) that I’ll get into on a later date. For now, I’ll just say that I’m less worried about the prospects of getting a new Star Wars movie every year.

Before we get to the point of this Snarcasm, let’s watch (or rewatch) the Rogue One teaser and get back up to hyperspeed:

Normally on this column, I take on writers who write silly things on the Internet. This week, I’m turning my attention to the many “fans” out there trying their darnedest to complain about the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story teaser for the impossibly worst reasons.

There are too many to…

I Love Dragons, but I’m aHEAD of Myself…

If those of you following my blog haven’t noticed, I’m a bit of an art fanatic, and as of my latest art project, we’ve been making heads–not just any heads. Dragon heads. Now, the process that we used was we made wire frames and paper mache’d over them and added different materials to add texture.

The result? Really rad dragon heads. From left to right, the materials used to create the outside textures were, some cool rough fabrics, feathery boas, sandpaper, twine, and just leaves and grass and such. With such simple materials, the outcome was spectacular.

Modern Slavery, Modern Catastrophe

I’d like to start off this blog post by saying happy new year, before going off about a more morbid subject of modern slavery. It’s something that’s seemed to come up in my life fairly frequently lately, and it’s something I’d just like to take a moment and discuss my ideas upon, take a moment to really shine some light upon the subject. Perhaps take a moment to watch this video, and maybe it’ll help give a little more insight to the whole thing, it personally gave me much to think about.

If Marvel Makes a Female ‘Teen Titans,’ This Should Be The Epic Lineup

This lineup is so rad!? I really REALLY love how Kamala Khan was added, because honestly, she’s just so perfect as Ms. Marvel/Captain Marvel. The new Thor was a really lovely touch as well. Personally, if we’re going from any universe, I’d probably add supergirl myself. I know, a little cliche, but hey she’s so lovely honestly. Supergirl or the Scarlet Witch, though if you’re putting together a team of younger, teenage heroes, Scarlet Witch is a bit iffy. Honestly though, this lineup is beyond perfect, and everything I could have hoped for. I’m genuinely in love! I’m going to keep tabs on that new “female teen titans” though, it definitely sounds like a very interesting new series.

I love it when Marvel creates new and interesting female characters that represent a twist in established universes. In recent years, they’ve written some incredible stories with these new superheroes (and villains).

And this year, Marvel announced an all-star team up of heroines led by She-Hulk. The core lineup consists  of Dazzler, Medusa, Singularity, and Nico Minoru. Though there are plenty more Marvel favorites that will make appearances, as you can see from the cover below.

Now, I’m a big fan of Teen Titans, the D.C. storylines surrounding the younger counterparts to bigger heroes. I’m not a comic-book writer, and I don’t want to be constrained to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So I propose a killer animated TV series that puts “Teen Titans Go” to shame. I would call it, Teen Avengers.

Yeah, I know. Original.

This new lineup would have to be a shakeup of relatively new characters and new twists on older…

A Good Cry is in Order

One of my favorite things to do when I’m feeling down is to watch those Thai Commercials/Ads/Specials that never fail to make me cry, but in a happy way most of the time, because they’re so beautiful.

Crying is important because it helps you let go of emotions that probably have been held in for way too long, also crying helps get rid of acne and other blemishes on your face, so that’s an up side too.

I’m going to put more videos under the cut so if you’re interested go ahead and watch.  Continue reading

An Unrelated Post

I wasn’t really sure what to write about for my first blog post so I thought I’d just share a story that I like to remember when I feel sad.

When Columbus sailed the ocean blue in fourteen-hundred and ninety-two he found the Americas and soon after he brought syphilis back to the to Europe.

Now, the funny thing is, at the time, syphilis was not a thing among the natives, like it was not found at the time. The only animal during the time that had syphilis were llamas.

I’m not suggesting anything, but according to deductive reasoning…
